This page provides access to the background, status, and documentation for NOAA's CoastWatch program. The CoastWatch program provides high-resolution (1km/4km) satellite data and derived products (including sea surface temperature) for coastal regions. This information can be used by federal, state, and local marine scientists and coastal resource managers. The data is also frequently used by fisherman.
