NOAA-POES AVHRR(GHRR&FRAC), HIRS, AMSU-A&B, MHS data sets now are available.
-
Calibration data is tracked and trended (telemetry, housekeeping, and co
efficients) in three forms, orbit (by Orbit value) and day (Daily average of 14 orbits/24 hours) and New Medium resolution (Med-Res) GAC, AMSU-A&B (2 minute values), HIRS (256 second Calibration period values) throughout orbit.
-
The orbital calibration parameters will be updated daily along with the most recent Med-Res files, every morning around 8 AM EST, for AVHRR(GAC), HIRS, AMSU-A&B, MHS. Med-Res instrument data and associated report (position(X), value(Y), scan#(start of each period), time(start of each period).
-
The plots are of sixty one orbits (Trend.Orb file and .orb.report), sixty one days (Trend.Day file and .day.report) and One Orbit file per Instrument of Med-Res (M_Orbit#_Inst_Sat and Report) parameter information.
-
The data and executable files produced from Visual Basic are available from NOAA/NESDIS/OSDPD/IPD Calibration group , along with narrative reports of anomalies that are affecting the data and a Master List of the trended data. This graphics driven program, will allow the user to change the setup display defaults, to suit your needs. An on screen help explains the various options and Describesthe plots.
