Calibration data is tracked and trended
(telemetry, housekeeping, and coefficients) in two forms, orbit(by Orbit average) and day( Daily average of 14 orbits/24 hours).
-
The orbital calibration parameters will be updated daily,
every morning around 8 Am EST, for AVHRR(GAC), HIRS, MSU, and SSU
instrument data. They are graphically presented.
-
The plots are of sixty one orbits(Trend.Orb file) and sixty one
days(Trend.Day file) of calibration information
per parameter.
-
The data and executable files produced from Visual
Basic are available from NOAA/NESDIS/OSDPD/IPD Calibration group , along
with narrative reports of anomalies that are affecting the data and a
Master List of the trended data.
This graphics driven program, will allow the user to change the setup display defaults, to
suit your needs. An on screen help explains the various options and Describes the plots.
