Product Systems Branch Soundings Team

The Product Systems Branch Soundings Team is composed of two government employees and 4 contractors. We are responsible for generating the polar sounding products, distributing them to users and to the National Climatic Data Center for archive. We monitor and maintain the product processing systems, provide necessary corrections and implement upgrades. We work very closely with the Forecast Products Development Team who do the science development and science support for all of our products.
